The laser delivers short pulses of energy that target tattoo pigment. The treated pigment breaks into smaller particles that the body clears over time. Results and treatment plans vary by tattoo and skin response.
There is no universal session count. Ink color, density, depth, tattoo age, placement, skin response, and whether you want full removal or fading for a cover-up all affect the plan. We provide an individualized estimate after seeing the tattoo in person.
Yes. Some clients only need enough fading to give a cover-up artist more options. Because Pigment offers tattooing and laser removal in the same studio, the technician and artist can plan toward the same finished piece.
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, and blistering can occur. Other risks include skin-color changes, infection, and scarring. Your technician will explain aftercare and when to contact a qualified medical professional.
Timing depends on how the treated skin heals and how your body responds. We do not schedule the next treatment until the area has recovered and the technician has cleared it.
